The Swiss Movement Disorders Society was founded in 2017 as a multidisciplinary and interprofessional non-profit society of clinicians, nurses, physical therapists, scientists, and other healthcare professionals to promote research and education in the field of Movement Disorders.
In the last decades, there was a tremendous improvement in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease, Tic, Dystonia or tremor. These so-called «movement disorders» are now considered as an important subspeciality of neurology. Discover more.
